樹木と樹木、その絡み合った姿は唯一無二である。ときが止まったかのような深い静けさの中、長い

時間を掛けて絡み合い、生存している。そこからは力強い生命力のみならず、それぞれ特有の個性

というものが伝わってくる。それは人間同様、ひとつの型には決して収まらない存在であることに気

付かされる。そんな唯一無二な樹林の姿を表現した。

※「陰森凄幽」とは、「樹木が鬱蒼（うっそう）と生い茂って薄暗く、ひどく静まり返っていること」という

意味の四字熟語。

Trees and trees, the intertwined figure is unique. In the deep stillness that seems to have

stopped time, they have been intertwined and surviving over a long period of time. From there,

not only the powerful vitality but also the unique individuality of each is transmitted. It reminds us

that it is an existence that never fits into one mold, just like humans. He expressed the

appearance of such a unique forest.

※ “in-shin-sei-yuu” is a four-letter idiom that means “the trees are densely overgrown, dimly lit,

and terribly quiet.”

京都市生まれ。

京都大学建築学科卒業後、大手住宅メーカーに勤務。

業務の一環として建築写真を教える。

2008年より「旅」×「写真」×「仲間」をテーマとしたamu design 写真教室をスタートさせる。

2018年に独立し、現在延べ生徒数2,000人を超える人気写真教室となる。

2021年、京都芸術大学写真コース卒業制作において受賞。

京都現代写真作家展入選。

2022年、京都、滋賀にて個展。

京都の個展では来客数1,000人超。いままで世界32か国、140か所を歩き廻る。

Akira Muramatsu was born in Kyoto City. After graduating from the Department of Architecture,

Kyoto University, worked for a major housing company. He teaches architectural photography

as part of his work. In 2008, he started the amu design photography class with the theme of

“Travel” x “Photo” x “Friends”. Independent in 2018, it has become a popular photography

school with a total of over 2,000 students. In 2021, he won an award for the Kyoto University of

the Arts photography course graduation work. Selected for the Kyoto Contemporary

Photographers Exhibition.In 2022, he held solo exhibitions in Kyoto and Shiga. Over 1,000

visitors at his solo exhibition in Kyoto. So far, he has traveled to 140 places in 32 countries

around the world.
